Erualdo R. González, associate professor of Chicana and Chicano studies, is co-guest editor for "Active Living Research-Niche to Norm," a supplement to Preventive Medicine. He also co-authored "The Changing Politics of Latino Consumption: Debates in Downtown Santa Ana's New Urbanist and Creative City Revitalization," which will appear this spring in "Race and Retail: Consumption Across the Color Line" by Rutgers University Press.

Peter J. Fashing and Nga Nguyen, both associate professors of anthropology, are among the co-authors of "Fitness Impacts of Tapeworms Parasitism on Wild Gelada Monkeys at Guassa, Ethiopia" in the May issue (Vol. 77, No. 5) of the American Journal of Primatology. Also co-authors on the article are alumni Derek A. Boyd '13 (B.A. anthropology) and Laura Lee '11 (M.A. anthropology).

In addition, Fashing and Nguyen also were co-authors on "Solitary Ethiopian Wolves Increase Predation Success on Rodents When Among Grazing Gelada Monkey Herds" in Vol. 96, Issue 1 of the Journal of Mammalogy.

HyeKyeung Seung, professor of human communication studies, and Juye Ji, assistant professor of social work, are among the co-authors of "Examination of the Korean Modified Checklist of Autism in Toddlers: Item Response Theory" published in the April issue of the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders.

Martin V. Bonsangue, professor of mathematics, and Harris S. Shultz, emeritus professor of mathematics, are authors of "In Search of Apollonius: On the Nature of Parabolas" in the February issue of the MathAMATYC Educator.

Valbone Memeti, assistant professor of geological sciences, co-authored "Tracking Paleodeformation Fields in the Mesozoic Central Sierra Nevada Arc: Implications for Intra-Arc Cyclic Deformation and Arc Tempos" published in the March 12 issue of Lithosphere.

James F. Parham, assistant professor of geological sciences, co-authored "Announcing the Fossil Calibration Series and Database" in the January-April issue of Palaeontologia Electronica.
