CSU Gets $8 Million for Student Success

Cal State Fullerton and 19 of its sister campuses have been awarded a total of $8,067,854 from the U.S. Department of Education to help provide first-generation, low-income, veteran and students with disabilities with the support services they need for college success.

The funding, announced July 17, comes from the U.S. Department of Education’s TRIO Student Support Services Program. The CSU campuses received 27 five-year grants that will be used to support academic tutoring, counseling services, financial literacy courses, mentoring programs and career counseling. 

Cal State Fullerton was awarded $292,340. Continue reading for more about the grant award.
