Farm-to-Cooking Class @ Arboretum

The Fullerton Arboretum will be the site of “Early Summer Celebration,” a cooking class centered around early summer produce and ingredients.
The class will teach attendees how to prepare dinner using fruits and vegetables that can be grown in their own gardens.
Starting off with a white wine and berry spritzer and concluding with a frozen lemon mousse, the class can be described as “dinner and a show,” said Jonathan Duffy Davis, one of two lead event organizers and a CSUF alumnus.
Davis, along with Jonathan Dye, will host monthly cooking classes at the arboretum through September. The duo manage tableandfield.com, a website that provides visitors with recipes and updates on upcoming classes. Continue reading.
