Arts Week Reached Wide Audience

Kicking off a week-long schedule of movies, lectures, panels, performances and exhibits, the third annual Cal State Fullerton Arts Week, “With Hearts Wide Open,” opened with live music from the campus’ Latin Ensemble and food at the Fullerton Arboretum on April 12.
The kick-off was in conjunction with the “Nature’s Gifts: Colors of the Arboretum, A Botanical & Landscape Watercolor Exhibition by CSUF” show, a painting exhibit by student artists.
Fionna Kuhn, the development and marketing coordinator for CSUF Arts Week, said Arts Week is important on campus because it encourages students from all the arts to get together, as well as students from other departments to come “meet the arts.”
