STUDENT wins four business awards

Cal State Fullerton physics major Phillipe Rodriguez won four business leadership awards at the State Business Leadership Conference, presented by California Phi Beta Lambda. Rodriguez won first place in financial concepts, second in project management, fourth in client service and fifth in entrepreneurship concepts. He competed in March against college students from across the state, including from UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC and UC Riverside.


Five CSUF faculty members were presented with newly-created awards at the Faculty Research Reception on April 15, hosted by the Department of Research, Creative Activities and Technology Transfer. Recipients of the awards are:

• John Gleaves, kinesiology, College of Health and Human Development

Titan on the Rise Award: Honoring scholarly achievements of a junior faculty member

• Nathalie Carrick, child and adolescent studies, College of Health and Human Development

Outstanding Research Mentor Award: Honoring consistent and successful mentoring
