Moving Day at CSUF

Nearly 1,900 students armed with luggage carts and suitcases moved into their dormitories today for the upcoming school year at Cal State Fullerton.

Of these, 1,250 were freshmen heading into traditional residence halls, while more than 630 upperclassmen settled into apartment-style housing, said CSUF spokeswoman Paula Selleck. "I'm a little nervous," said Amanda Steeman, a first-year health and science student.

"It's a big change, but I'm excited to be on my own." Said Raen Zulueta, a freshman biology major from San Francisco: "I'm very excited, but nervous about being so far from home." Continue reading
