CSUF's Putcha Predicts Presidential Winner


Chandrasekhar Putcha, professor emeritus of civil and environmental engineering and  receipient of the 2007 Outstanding Professor Award, predicts that Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States.

Using engineering analysis based on principles of probability and statistics from polling data across all 50 states, Putcha predicts that Clinton will win the Electoral College vote at 284 to Trump's 254 and the popular vote with 43.63% vs Trump at 42.52%. A margin of error of 1.9% is associated with the electoral college  and 0.0001% on the popular vote numbers. Continue reading in the Orange County Register.
