Competing in Sales

Helping students put their sales knowledge and skills to the test, 36 students competed in Cal State Fullerton’s 4th annual Titan Sales Competition organized by the Mihalyo College of Business and Economics’ Sales Leadership Center (SLC).

Through mock sales meetings with representatives from Henry Schein and Hormel Foods, students took on the role of salespeople while the representatives acted as potential clients.

The competition’s sales pitch scenarios were remotely judged via webcam. Students were judged on their interaction with the faux clients. Winning teams received a commemorative trophy and plaques; high-scoring students received scholarships. Continue reading in the Orange County Register.
