History Lecturer’s Native American Art Featured in Oklahoma’s Red Earth Festival

Eric Tippeconnic, a CSUF history lecturer and Native American artist, is featured in The Lawton Constitution story about his artwork displayed at the Red Earth Festival in Oklahoma City earlier this month.
The June 10-12 exhibit included Tippeconnic’s acrylic paintings. He said he hopes that the tones and colors of life in his art inspire others to appreciate the diversity of life and nature. Tippeconnic is a member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma and his art has been shown in New Mexico, New York and California.
