CSUF Professor on the Breakup of Stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Vanessa Diaz, assistant professor of communications, is the latest Cal State Fullerton faculty member tapped for comment by the news media about a research topic. The Ford Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship recipient is working on a book tentatively titled “Manufacturing Celebrity: Race, Gender, and the Cultural Politics of the Red Carpet and Paparazzi Work.” Diaz was interviewed by a pop culture writer for the Los Angeles Times for today’s front-page story about the breakup of stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
