CSUF Internships for Future Math and Science Teachers at Tucker

This summer, three students from the College of Education are interning at Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary in Silverado’s Modjeska Canyon. The Orange County Register caught up with the students who are acquiring skills that will benefit them in their future careers as elementary and middle school math and science teachers.

The internships are part of the college’s Promoting Resources in Informal Science Education — or PRISE — program, in which students are placed at local informal science institutions for the summer.
