CSUF Stem Cell Research Training Progresses with Another $3 Million Grant

There are still many unknowns when it comes to stem cell research – but that’s what makes it so intriguing to Nilay Patel and Alison Miyamoto, Cal State Fullerton associate professors of biological science.

In January, CSUF was awarded a $3 million grant from the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, CIRM, for the expansion of its Bridges to Stem Cell Research program.

The 14-month program aims to educate, train and prepare CSUF students for careers in stem cell research and regenerative medicine. Continue reading
