Robots, Rockets, DNA — Girl Scouts Go Hands-On at STEM Expo

The College of Engineering and Computer Science, along with the Association for Computing Machinery-Women in Computing, partnered with the Orange County Girl Scouts to present the second STEM Expo on campus Oct. 15. 

More than 500 Girl Scouts, from grades four to 12, explored robotics challenges, DNA extraction, and fingerprint collection and coding while meeting with STEM professionals and CSUF students. They also toured the labs in three colleges: ECS, Natural Sciences and Mathematics and Health and Human Development. Continue reading in the Orange County Register.
