Getty Researcher to Speak About Art Insights

Share This:

Data researcher Matthew Lincoln of the Getty Research Institute will offer a Tuesday, May 2,  keynote focused on how the intersection of art history and the use of digital tools can reveal new insights about artists and artistic production in the early modern era.

The one-hour talk begins at 2:30 p.m. in Room 219 of the Humanities-Social Sciences Building.

Lincoln started a project nearly a year ago as the Getty Research Institute’s new data research specialist. The multi-year project will remodel the databases and combine work from the art historical, librarian, archival programming, design and user experience staff at the Getty to build a system that allows users around the world to easily connect with the Getty’s programs.
