Art Exhibition at Cal State Fullerton Shows a Universal Experience on Migration

Cause 6 painting

Juan M. Gomez, a CSUF grad whose “Cause 6” is part of the “Memories of Migration” exhibit, says his paintings are a tribute to his parents.

"Memories of Migration: Telling Our Stories and Connecting Our Travels," is an exhibit courtesy of Reforma, which formed a partnership with the CSUF Pollak Library and the Santa Ana Public Library, with the support of the Institute of Museums and Library Services, based in Washington.

The exhibition chronicles the migration histories of residents in Orange County and is brought to life through the eyes of artists from Southern California and across the country.

The exhibition runs until August 31 on the terrace of the second floor of the Pollak Library. Continue reading in Excélsior.
