Political Experts Predict Voters Without Party Preference Could Decide Local Congressional Races

 

Stephen Stambough, Cal State Fullerton professor of political science, commented on the increasing population of voters with no party preference (NPP).  Voters who are NPP either “don’t particularly trust the established party system” or are “Republicans who don’t want to say they’re Republican," he said.

As part of a statewide trend, Orange County NPP voter numbers nearly doubled in 18 years, and political experts say these votes could be the deciding factor in four Orange County Congressional races. Continue reading in the Voice of OC.
