Gravitational Waves Reveal the Hearts of Neutron Stars


As the leader of the “Extreme Matter” team for the Advanced Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO), Jocelyn Read, assitant professor of physics, is guiding an international study of the merger of two neutron stars some 130 million light-years from Earth.
