Today’s fall conference of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR), Southern California chapter, was hosted by Cal State Fullerton.
“We are excited to be hosting this professional conference on campus for the first time,” said David Forgues, vice president for human resources, inclusion and diversity.
President Fram Virjee welcomed the crowd of more than 160, extolling CSUF’s commitment to diversity. “Hosting conferences such as this creates connections and helps all of us accomplish more,” he said.
The keynote speaker, Ryan Gottfredson, assistant professor of management, an expert in organizational behavior and assistant director of Mihaylo College of Business and Economics’ Center for Leadership, spoke on the topic of mindsets in “Empowering Positive Change in Your Leadership, Your Work and Your Organization.”
