As part of their audiology practicum course, graduate-level communicative disorders students will provide free hearing screenings in April to preschoolers who attend the campus Children’s Center and to members of the university’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).

The examinations conform to American Speech-Language-Hearing Association guidelines and will be supervised by licensed and certified audiologist Maria Grijalva ‘09 (B.A. communicative disorders), lecturer in communication sciences and disorders.

Preschool screenings will take place Friday, April 12, 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Children’s Center. Permission slips should be submitted to the center as soon as possible, as spots are limited.

Screenings for OLLI members will be held Friday, April 26, 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Cal State Fullerton Speech Language and Hearing Clinic, College Park, 2600 Nutwood Ave., Fullerton. Space is limited; call 657-278-3997 to schedule an appointment.
