Campus to Offer Youth Summer Programs Virtually

Share This:

This year Cal State Fullerton’s summer offerings for youth will look a little different, as several programs return — but in a virtual format due to the novel coronavirus.

Kids can explore such topics as coding, math or writing in weekly online academic or technology programs provided by Extension and International Programs. Courses are for children in grades 3-8 and will be offered in the June 22-July 31 time period.

The weeklong academic programs will be held via Google Classroom and Zoom, Monday through Friday for one hour each day, with an additional 30 minutes of independent learning. The virtual tech experiences are two- to six-week classes that will take place on Zoom for one hour a day.

Visit titanyouth.fullerton.edu for schedules, fees and registration, which will open Friday, May 22

Elementary school students also have the opportunity to learn about desert plants online in the Fullerton Arboretum’s interactive, self-paced educational program “Desert Discovery.” To get free access, visit the Fullerton Arboretum website

Campus art, sports and swim camps will not be available this summer.
