Professor of art Lawrence T. Yun’s new watercolor painting, “Greenhouse Laboratory (Cattleya Orchid)” took the top honor — Best of Show — at the 2016 Perception and Vision Exhibition and Symposium in Guiyang, in China’s Guizhou Province. The symposium was organized by the Chinese-American Art Faculty Association (CAAFA) of USA and Center for Chinese Art at William Paterson University together with Guizhou Minzu University, where the event was held.
Yun also is the recipient of CAAFA’s 2016 inaugural Service and Contribution Award for his dedication to promoting higher education and artistic exchange between China and the United States.
