CSUF To Share Holiday Messages Via Social Media for Annual Video

Share This:

Update: The deadline has been extended to Dec. 9. Selected video submissions will be included in the president’s holiday video message. We will curate all of the social media posts and add them to a Storify blog. You can continue posting your holiday wishes even after the deadline for inclusion in the blog.

This year, Cal State Fullerton’s annual holiday video message will feature social media posts from our followers wishing our Titan family happy holidays and a wonderful new year. To participate in this year’s CSUF Holiday Message, you will need to post a creative Instagram, Twitter or YouTube clip and tag it #csufholidayvideo.

It’s your opportunity to tell our followers your reflections about the holidays and what you are thankful for leading into 2017. The post can be a selfie video or include your classmates, co-workers, friends and family — as long as it is a holiday message to your Titan family. Detailed instructions are online

The best submissions will be added into the University’s holiday video, which is an annual message that goes out to the campus community, alumni, friends and donors. The video, which includes a message from President Mildred García, is emailed and posted in early December. Previous videos have featured students, faculty, staff and supporters saying why they are thankful for the past year and wishing Titans around the world holiday cheer and a fruitful new year.

Again, his year’s video will feature messages posted on Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms, and yours could be one of them. As a special gift, we are giving away some cool Titan gear to those who post messages that are included in the holiday video. The deadline for submissions is Nov. 18.

Go online for more details on how to get your holiday message or wish included in this year’s video. We will also feature all of the holiday postings in a Storify so either way you will get to wish the Titan family Happy Holidays.
