Cellist Bongshin Ko, professor of music and assistant director of the School of Music, is traveling with 20 music students to perform five concerts in South Korea.
The students form part of the CSUF Cello Choir, directed by Ko, as well as the String Chamber Ensemble and other University instrument ensembles. They will perform repertories from contemporary American composers such as John Williams, as well as Mozart, Tchaikovsky and others. Cal State Fullerton students also will have the opportunity to collaborate with other musicians.
Joining them will be Professor Valentin Andert from The German School of Music Weimar, as well as several CSUF alumni.
