Management Professor to Participate in NEH Summer Program

Rommel Salvador

Rommel Salvador, assistant professor of management, will spend four weeks exploring “Moral Psychology and Education: Putting the Humanities to Work,” a National Endowment for the Humanities summer program.

He is among 25 scholars selected nationally to take part in the residential program at Grand Valley State University.

Salvador, who joined Cal State Fullerton in 2014, teaches courses in training and development, human resource management and organizational behavior. His research encompasses dimensions of socially responsible management, such as ethical decision-making, occupational health and safety, and managing diversity in the workplace.

The residential programs are established to “exchange ideas about the art of teaching and share insights and materials with their colleagues and students.” The subjects “highlight the role of the humanities in enhancing understanding and respect for diverse cultures and subcultures within America’s borders and around the globe.”
