Titan fans are invited to join the 2017 Titan Baseball Welcome Home Celebration Tuesday when the players’ bus arrives on campus at about 11:45 a.m., following the Titans’ 18th appearance in the College World Series.
Campus and community members are gathering at Cal State Fullerton’s Byrnes Circle to greet the team bus. Visitors parking in Lot A can walk along West Campus Drive to the access road south of Titan Stadium to reach Byrnes Circle, located west of Anderson Field.
Before the team lost its bid Monday to advance in the tournament, baseball fans of all ages, including Team Coben, had been cheering on the Titans. Highlights included: signing autographs for fans, enjoying Omaha-style hospitality and Father’s Day fun. And a player’s uncle managed to secure a priceless College World Series keepsake for his nephew.
The applause and cheering resume at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 20.
