Former Center for Family Business director Mike Trueblood will be honored for his 12 years of service during the third annual Hall of Fame event next month.
Cal State Fullerton’s Center for Family Business will honor one of its former directors with a Lifetime Achievement Award during this year’s Hall of Fame event.
Mike Trueblood, a former advertising executive who served with the Leo Burnett Agency and Dailey & Associates, joined CSUF in 1999 and served 12 years as director of the center, during which he led the campaign to create the Rick Muth Endowed Chair for Family Business on campus.
Muth, president of Stanton-based Orco Block & Hardscape and a founding member of the Center for Family Business, will present the award to Trueblood Tuesday, March 21, during the center’s third annual Hall of Fame program.
Also to be honored at the program will be four Southern California-based, family-owned companies, that will be recognized for excellence in the community, strength in succession, maintaining and honoring the founder’s vision, and commitment to education.
The guest speaker for the program will be Lynsi Snyder, president of In-N-Out Burger and the third generation of the Snyder family to oversee the Southern California-based restaurant chain. She will be interviewed about growing up and becoming a part of the family business by Mark Steines, co-host of the Hallmark Channel program “Home & Family.”
The March 21 Hall of Fame will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Richard M. Nixon Library, 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd., Yorba Linda.
