Mojgan Sami, assistant professor of public health, previously served three years as a principal investigator on a California Endowment-supported project, “Community Based Participatory Action Research Project on Transportation Equity.” She has served as an assistant project scientist and investigator at UC Irvine — where she earned her doctorate — as well as a researcher at USC. Sami is a vice chair of the board of directors for California Walks and a committee member on the Social Determinants of Health in Orange County.
