Portia Jackson Preston Researching Stress as a Driver of Health Disparities

Portia Jackson Preston, assistant professor of public health, joined Cal State Fullerton this fall after teaching health care policy and health care delivery systems for two years at Cal State Los Angeles. Jackson Preston’s research interests focus on self-care practices, burnout in the non-clinical hospital and public health workforce, as well as effective teaching and service-learning pedagogy for first-generation college students.
