Meet Eric Gonzaba, assistant professor of American studies, whose research interests include African American history and LGBTQ culture, the politics of pleasure and leisure, and digital history. Some of Gonzaba’s projects include an online archive that explores the global history of LGBTQ people through T-shirts and a digital mapping project that investigates ignored queer geography and spaces since 1965. Gonzaba received his doctorate and master’s degrees in history from George Mason University.
