Tracy Wood, a former foreign correspondent in Asia and a California investigative reporter and editor, will speak June 6 at Cal State Fullerton’s Patrons of the Library annual meeting.
Wood’s talk will focus on the fall of Saigon 40 years ago and her experiences as one of the few women assigned as a combat correspondent during the Vietnam War.
The former Los Angeles Times investigative reporter and investigations editor at the Orange County Register co-authored the 2002 book “War Torn, Stories of War From the Women Reporters Who Covered Vietnam.”
The 2 p.m. free, public lecture will be held in the Pollak Library’s Rotary Club of Fullerton Room 130. On-campus parking is free on Saturdays. For more information, contact Joanne Gass.
