Share This:

A panel discussion on what CSUF faculty have learned from visits to local elementary and middle school science and math classrooms will be presented from 10-11 a.m. Friday, May 8, in Room 390 of McCarthy Hall.

Topics discussed include how culturally responsive teaching and dual-language instruction engages students in STEM disciplines and what faculty can learn about instruction from interactions with elementary and middle school teachers. Panelists are Armando Martinez-Cruz, Laura Smith, Anael Verdugo and Paula Hudson.

The event for CSUF faculty is supported by a National Science Foundation grant project to increase STEM learning among Hispanic students. More info: Contact Martinez-Cruz, amartinez-cruz@fullerton.edu or email.
