Class of 2015 kinesiology graduate and former soccer player Adriana Gjonovich has been named the Big West Conference’s honoree for this year’s NCAA Women of the Year award.
NCAA member schools nominated 480 women for the national award, the most in the program’s 25-year history, and a record 147 NCAA female-student-athletes were named 2015 Woman of the Year honorees by conferences and independent schools. The Big West Conference office reviewed eight nominees from its league members, and selected Gjonovich for additional recognition.
