Ernest Works, professor emeritus of sociology, died Aug. 3.
The educator joined the campus community in 1964 and served for 25 years, including three years as chair of the Sociology Department. Works also had taught at Bowling Green State University, Central Michigan University and Columbus College of Arts and Design.
