The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics will host a STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics — Summer Research Symposium from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, in Dan Black Hall and courtyard. The event is open to the public.

David D. Bowman, the college’s interim dean and professor of geological sciences, will give remarks beginning at 11 a.m. Eighty-seven students in summer research programs will present their projects and activities during two poster sessions.
