Pianist and School of Music faculty member Füreya Ünal joins Judy Huang, grand prize winner of the 2004 Carmel Music Society Competition, for a one-night-only 8 p.m. performance Friday, Sept. 11, at Clayes Performing Arts Center’s Recital Hall.
Ünal, founder and co-artistic director of Divan Consort, brings the music ensemble to Clayes’ Meng Concert Hall Sept. 25 for an 8 p.m. concert. Divan Consort performs recent works of high artistic expression, as well as landmark compositions. Their debut album, “Refuge,” won gold last year at the Global Music Awards.
