Student employees in the Associated Students Inc. Marketing and Design Office won Best in Show honors at the Association of College Unions International Region I conference.
ASI’s “Fully 57” T-shirt — designed by alumni Lety Macarty ‘15 (B.F.A) and Jonathan Kwok ‘15 (B.F.A. and B.A. communications-advertising) — won first place in apparel-student staff category and best in show in the Steal This Idea competition.
It is the second time this year that ASI has been recognized by ACUI. Last spring, the organization’s international competition honored ASI for calendars/schedules by student staff.
The “Fully 57” awards were but two of the 11 honors received during the competition. The Office also won first place in banners, maps and multipage document; second place in apparel, brochure, four-color poster, motion graphics and video promotion; and third place in four-color poster.
The Association of College Unions International is a nonprofit educational organization that brings together college union and student activities professionals.
