Benjamin J. Hubbard, professor emeritus of comparative religion, is co-author of “Battlefield of Values: America’s Left, Right and Endangered Center” being released by Praeger Dec. 31. Hubbard is author or co-author of four earlier books, including “Reporting Religion: Facts & Faith.”

Alyssa A. Samek, assistant professor of human communication studies, authored “Pivoting Between Identity Politics and Coalitional Relationships: Lesbian-Feminist Resistance to the Woman-Identified Woman,” in the December issue of Women’s Studies in Communication.

American studies faculty members Adam Golub, associate professor, and Carrie Lane, professor, co-authored “Zombie Companies and Corporate Survivors” in the September issue of Anthropology Now.
