Monica Hanna, assistant professor of Chicana and Chicano studies, is a co-editor on the recently published book “Junot Diaz and the Decolonial Imagination” published by Duke University Press. The book examines the work of the award-winning Dominican-American writer — author of “The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao,” “This Is How You Lose Her” and “Drown“ — particularly how his work “illuminates the world of Latino cultural expression and trans-American and diasporic literary history.”
Mohinder Grewal, professor of electrical engineering, authored the chapter “Global Navigation Satellite Systems Theory and Practice: Evolution, State-of-Art and Future Pathways” in Vol. 1 of the three-volume Remote Sensing Handbook edited by Prasad S. Thenkabail and published in November by CRC Press.
