Four CSUF alumni will return to advise and network with students during the April 6 Careers in Aging event.
The panel of experts — Diane Patterson ‘06 (M.S. gerontology), Trina Sauceda ‘08 (M.S. gerontology), Michelle Yerke ‘10 ‘99 (M.S. gerontology, B.S. human services) and Christian Otbo ‘12 (M.S. gerontology) — will share their experiences working with aging adults.
Patterson is the founder of Success In Aging TV and the editor of the website’s Journal for Success in Aging. Sauceda is an aging in place specialist and owns Let’s Keep You in Your Home, an in-home assisted living service. Michelle Yerke is a care manager for the City of Huntington Beach Senior Services and Christian Otbo is the administrator at The Cottage at Artesia Gardens, a residential care facility.
This free and public event is from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Shapiro Wing of the Ruby Gerontology Center at Cal State Fullerton.
