Cal State Fullerton’s online master’s in education-educational technology program has been recognized for training educators to effectively use technology to support student-centered teaching and learning.
The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) awarded its
“Seal of Alignment for Coach Standards” to the College of Education program, stating that it prepares “educators for leveraging the power of technology to improve learning for students.”
The Coach Standards are designed for those teachers who want to be educational technology leaders, often working in the role of teachers on special assignment, or academic and digital learning coaches, said Tim Green, who co-directs the program with Loretta Donovan, both professors of elementary and bilingual education.
The 16-month graduate program helps educators gain experience and skills in becoming educational technology leaders and change agents.
