Faculty Speak on Educational Pipeline, Fitness and Speech

Three Cal State Fullerton faculty members have or will soon be sharing their expertise at local conferences on such subjects as speech, fitness and the educational pipeline.

Phillip Weir-Mayta, assistant professor of human communication studies, delivered “Internally Versus Externally Cued Speech in Parkinson’s Disease and Cerebellar Disease” at the March 3-6 Conference on Motor Speech in Newport Beach.

Later this month, Maria Malagon, assistant professor of sociology, will be a panelist speaking about the educational pipeline, during the March 11 Young Women’s Leadership Conference in Fontana.

And Ken Alan, lecturer in kinesiology, will lead “The Santa Monica Escape Walking Tour” and “L.A. Urban Safari Walking” in July, at the IDEA World Fitness Convention.
