Professor of art Lawrence T. Yun’s new watercolor painting, “Greenhouse Laboratory (Cattleya Orchid)” took the top honor — Best of Show — at the 2016 Perception and Vision Exhibition and Symposium in Guiyang, in China’s Guizhou Province. The symposium was organized by the Chinese-American Art Faculty Association (CAAFA) of USA and Center for Chinese Art at William Paterson University together with Guizhou Minzu University, where the event was held.
1 also is the recipient of CAAFA’s 2016 inaugural Service and Contribution Award for his dedication to promoting higher education and artistic exchange between China and the United States.
