What can DNA testing reveal about one’s family history? In conjunction with National DNA Day April 25, the Pollak Library hosts a free, public lecture on “Using DNA to Discover Your Ancestry.”
The lecture covers the three types of DNA tests used for family history research, how to analyze the results for each type of test and ethical considerations. The class is suitable for those who have already tested, as well as those who want to get started.
Presented by marketing librarian and genealogy instructor Colleen Greene, the event takes place from 10 a.m. to noon in Room 303 of the library.
