In a recent issue of Diverse Issues in Higher Education, Cal State Fullerton’s undergraduate and graduate nursing programs were ranked among the top 50 institutions in the nation for awarding degrees to underrepresented students.
Under the fields of registered nursing, nursing administration, nursing research and clinical nursing for degrees awarded to underrepresented students, Cal State Fullerton was listed as 22nd for graduate degrees and 32nd for bachelor degrees. The ranking “The Top Producers of Health Science Degrees” was published in the Nov. 30 issue of the publication.
The data for the Top 100 annual analysis comes from a survey of students by race and ethnicity conducted as part of the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, collected by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics.
