As part of Women’s History Month celebration at Cal State Fullerton, the College of the Arts is hosting the panel discussion “Women Alumni in the Arts: Titans Reaching Higher.” Six female alumni are coming back to campus Thursday, March 14, to share tales of their individual journeys in their chosen professions with students.
The panel runs 4-6 p.m. in the McCarty Grand Foyer (west lobby) of the Clayes Performing Arts Center. Scheduled to appear are:
- Michelle Hiraishi ’17 (B.F.A. art – entertainment art-animation), storyboard and illustration artist
- Cyrus Parker-Jeannette ’78 (B.A. theatre arts – dance), dean of the College of the Arts at Cal State Long Beach
- Anabel Martinez ’15 (B.A. music – music education), educator
- Ashley Sinohui-Lara ’12 (B.F.A. art – graphic design), creative arts manager
- Brandy Stiles ’06 (B.A. theatre arts), department manager at Blizzard
- Nadine Tran ’17 (B.A. sociology and dance), freelance dancer and choreographer
