University Celebrates the Cultural Diversity of This Year’s Graduates

Programs are Part of Overall Commencement Festivities

California State University, Fullerton celebrates its diverse student population through a series of cultural recognition events leading up to Commencement 2019.

The cultural ceremonies and celebrations are open to all graduating students regardless of ethnicity or sexual orientation. All programs will be held in Portola Pavilion of the Titan Student Union.

Saturday, May 4

5:30 p.m. — 31st annual Chicanx/Latinx and Native American Graduation 

Sunday, May 5

Noon  — 17th Annual Asian Pacific American Desi American Recognition Celebration
6 p.m. — 16th Annual Lavender Recognition Celebration

Friday, May 10

6 p.m. — 20th Annual Pilipinx American Recognition Celebration

Saturday, May 11

11 a.m. — Pan-Afrikan Recognition Celebration
6 p.m. — Fourth Annual Dreamer Recognition Celebration

Commencement 2019 ceremonies  are scheduled for May 17-19 at various locations on the campus of Cal State Fullerton, 800 N. State College Blvd., Fullerton, 92831.
