Meet Aitana Guia, associate professor of history specializing in the social and political history of modern Europe. Her areas of expertise are nationalism, migrants and minorities in post-war Europe. Before joining Cal State Fullerton, Guia was a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies. She also worked as an assistant protection officer for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Caracas, Venezuela.
