A Titan’s Guide to the Spring Semester

Share This:

As Titans gear up for the spring 2025 semester, the campus is buzzing with new resources, exciting construction projects and dazzling events to help students make the most of their college experience. Cal State Fullerton’s semester begins Jan. 18 and culminates with Commencement May 19-22.

New Resources to Help Students Succeed

As students gear up for success in the final months of the 2024-25 academic year, the campus offers several new resources to help them navigate everything from scholarship awards to registration and more.

Beginning this semester, students, faculty and staff can use their CSUF credentials to access TitanGPT, CSUF’s secure artificial intelligence tool that is powered by ChatGPT-4o.

The Titan Hub office, located in Langsdorf Hall, Room 114, aims to help students succeed from admission to graduation by centralizing support services. Students can connect with staff members in person and virtually to receive information related to the Office of Admissions, Office of Financial Aid, Office of the Registrar, Scholarships Office, Student Business Services and Dean of Students Office.

The Division of Student Affairs, Office of Financial Aid and Titan Hub will host a Feb. 1 “Funding Your Future at CSUF” event, where students will have the opportunity to meet with a financial aid expert to fill out the 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

The fall semester also saw the opening of the inaugural Scholarships Office in Gordon Hall, Room 178. The Scholarships Office provides students with in-person and virtual advising to assist them as they submit scholarship applications, navigate the review process and receive their awards.

Supported by a $75,000 gift from Kaiser Permanente, the Associated Students Inc. Food Pantry, located in Titan Student Union, Room 129, expanded its resources to include culturally and dietary-specific foods as well as refrigerated lockers where students can store their groceries while they’re on campus.

Campus Construction Projects

Construction is underway for a new 510-bed, apartment-style student housing complex that is slated for completion in fall 2026. The six-story, 155,000-square-foot building will accommodate four students — seniors and graduate students — in each two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit, which includes a kitchen and a living area.

The College of Engineering and Computer Science is set to begin construction this summer on a state-of-the-art ECS Innovation Hub, which will foster collaboration, creativity and cutting-edge research. Located west of the Engineering Building and adjacent to the lawn area, the hub will house learning labs for hands-on student research and projects, focusing on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, bioengineering and navigation. The Office of Student Life and Leadership and ASI will host Discoverfest Jan. 29-30 on the intramural field. At CSUF’s largest involvement fair, students will have opportunities to connect with and learn about more than 350 organizations on campus.

Titans Give, the university’s 24-hour day of giving to support scholarships, programs, teams and other causes, will take place March 12.

The College of the Arts is looking forward to several performances and art installations this semester, including a production of the rock musical “Spring Awakening,” concerts by the Fullerton Jazz Chamber Ensemble and CSUF Wind Symphony, and exhibitions hosted in the Nicolas & Lee Begovich Gallery

Cal State Fullerton Commencement 2025 will take place May 19-22. Ceremonies will be held at the Titan Stadium and intramural field.
