In this role, Le will serve as a member of the president’s cabinet and lead the university’s award-winning Strategic Communications and Brand Management team, responsible for storytelling, media relations, digital and social media, and crisis management.

“Tran brings a combination of campaign expertise and strong leadership in navigating complex challenges,” said President Ronald Rochon. “Her forward-thinking vision and talent for storytelling will help us amplify Cal State Fullerton’s story and impact.”

She brings more than a decade of experience advising senior leaders and C-suite executives on issues management and communications strategy across print, digital, broadcast and direct mail.

Before joining the Titan community, Le spearheaded high-impact communications campaigns, advancing institutional priorities, pre-K-12 access initiatives and community engagement programs at the University of Southern California. She also served as communications director for a Los Angeles city councilmember, overseeing media relations, digital strategy and multilingual outreach.

“I am honored to serve in this role at such a pivotal moment for higher education,” Le said. “Under President Rochon’s leadership, Cal State Fullerton is uniquely positioned to advance its bold mission and demonstrate our impact as a leading public institution. I am eager to collaborate with colleagues across campus to amplify our story, strengthen our brand and showcase the transformative impact taking place in our community every day.”

Le began her career as a grassroots community organizer, supporting efforts to expand access and resources to underserved communities across Los Angeles.

A first-generation college graduate, Le earned her bachelor’s degree in Asian American studies from Cal State Northridge and is a graduate of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs.
