Cal State Fullerton welcomes new, transfer and returning students to campus Jan. 17, marking the start of the spring 2026 semester.
The semester is packed with exciting events and programs, expanded resources to support students on their academic journeys and more — all leading up to the university’s Commencement 2026 celebration from May 18-21.
Expanded Resources for Students
The university has expanded resources to support students as they approach the close of the 2025-26 academic year.
The Associated Students Inc. This is the second year ASI has received one of Kaiser Permanente’s community grants.
The fall semester saw the opening of the Native American and Indigenous Resource Center, which is the newest addition to CSUF’s Diversity Initiatives and Resource Centers. Open to all students, the center’s mission focuses on belonging, education, engagement and honoring cultural traditions.

Campus Construction Updates
Cal State Fullerton celebrated the naming of several student academic spaces in recognition of Titan supporters, including the Conrey Center for Entrepreneurship. The center was named in honor of Jerry Conrey and his wife, Dr. Victoria Shook Conrey, who made a $4.5 million bequest to support students in their ventures to launch bold ideas.
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences named a first-floor lecture hall the “Kirt and Donna Spradlin Family Auditorium” in honor of the couple who made a bequest of their home to the university to fund scholarships for aging studies and English students.
Titans will also notice significant progress on the 42,000-square-foot College of Engineering and Computer Science Innovation Hub. This spring will mark the transition from structural framing of the building to the next phase of completing construction by fall 2027.
